Three Jurong Island partners began a controlled hydrogen blending pilot intended to measure NOx emissions when five percent of natural gas feedstock is replaced in a single furnace line. Sensors feed data to an on-premise historian that operators can audit without external cloud dependencies.

Results will inform whether broader blending requires updated flare protocols or training modules for control-room staff. NEA observers have access to daily summary reports during the ninety-day trial.
