Kallang community league doubles youth futsal slots after facility upgrade
Sport Singapore and a Kallang community centre opened upgraded indoor futsal courts on Monday, doubling available youth league slots for the coming term. Ventilation and LED lighting replacements allow evening matches to run year-round without weather cancellations that previously disrupted outdoor pitches during heavy rain months.
Registration priority goes to teams from nearby schools that lack on-campus courts. Coaches receive basic first-aid refreshers as part of the booking package. Spectator seating is limited to fifty per court to keep noise within residential guidelines.
A free skills clinic for girls aged ten to fourteen runs alternate Saturdays, funded by a local foundation grant. Equipment is provided; participants need only bring court shoes and a water bottle.
League organisers publish fixtures as static HTML tables updated weekly—no mobile app required—so guardians on older phones can still follow schedules.
